Hi

A few days ago I checked our flasks and found something interesting. An in vitro growing flower stalk started to produce a new shoot out of the area where a flower bud was growing before.

In the past I always used the nodes and the tip of flower stalks to clone Phalaenopsis but I always threw away the nodes where the flowers grew on. Perhaps also "flower bud" nodes are able to produce plants.

Cheers

Thomas

Hi Kyle

I will post a new photo when something chances. At the moment the shoot (or whatever it is) grows very fast but I canĀ“t say if it is a new flower stalk or ...

Cheers

Hi

The shoot grew very good but a few days ago the stem + shoot suddenly turned black and died. I will try it again and hope to be able to reproduce it.

Cheers

Thomas
