G'day from Australia!

Post by Geo » Wed May 28, 2014 12:56 am

Hey guys!

I've recently discovered an interest on orchids! I purchased a phalaenopsis a few weeks ago! So far, things are well.

It's warmer than normal where I live right now (in Australia) which ultimately lead to my blooms opening earlier than expected!

I love the idea that orchid enthusiasts can come together to talk about things that evolve around their orchid experience.

Have a great day!

Geo

Welcome to the forum Geo! Yes, it is a good thing to come together to discuss orchids. With world wide access to this forum it is remarkable our ability to talk to each other across the world. I'm in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

Welcome!
Matt

Welcome, Geo. You'll find that Phallie will need to have several friends to keep it company! :)

Please say hi to Nando's, Hungry Jack's and Comedy at Spleen Bar for me when you are in Melbourne. Also to every packet of Tim Tams you see.

Welcome Geo! Let's see what you have to share :-).

You know it's a great forum when you search for "bellina" and it returns this from the server:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bellina."

Haha, thanks guys!

You really made me feel welcome!

Update: I've bought another phalaenopsis and I got a cymbidium and a pink rock dendrobium from my friend!

Ah, aren't orchids addicting? :D
