This one smells as great as could be. Plus, this morning's lab report (jinx alert) is 80 viability and "VERY ripe" seed on the selfing. This is from Frank Smith's strain. The pod was on the plant for more than 10 months.

I love denisoniana and think it has much to offer in intergeneric work. The fragrance might should be regulated by the FDA...

Wish me luck on the flasks to hopefully come to fruition...

Thanks, Ray. I have pictured it crossed with everything from Sed./Phal japonica (imagine the fragrance) to lesser Primates. Reminds me of when Blc. Oconee 'Mendenhall' first started flowering and the joke at Carter and Holmes was, anytime anything flowered (red African Violets), the chorus chant was..."Put Oconee on it!" :lol:
