I like this flower. I wonder if the yellow color will get brighter as it ages? Is this from Taiwan?

Rich buttery yellow - I’m also curious as to how the flower color matures

Yes, Lioulin Orchids is a hybridizer in Taiwan.

I was just thinking that Phal Sogo Shito is such a nice yellow, and Phal Sogo Lawrence is a good breeder. Not at all surprise that this two were put together to produce Phalaenopsis Lioulin Lawrence. There are 2 awards by AOS.

Phalaenopsis Lioulin Lawrence 'FL 89023'
Phal. Sogo Lawrence x Phal. Sogo Shito
AM/AOS (83 points)
5.8 cm x 5.5 cm "Thirteen shapely, richly colored flowers on two inflorescences to 20cm long; sepals bright yellow; dorsal sepal light magenta blush and venation; lateral sepals blushed light magenta on inferior halves; petals bright yellow, magenta blush and venation over basal two-thirds; white halo around column; lip bright yellow, side lobes magenta distally, dark yellow basally, midlobe darker magenta-overlaid centrally, lavender distally; column and anther cap white; substance rigid; texture matte."

Phalaenopsis Lioulin Lawrence 'Dusty's Sunshine G847'
Phal. Sogo Lawrence x Phal. Sogo Shito
HCC/AOS (77 points) 6.50 cm x 6.40 cm "Ten stellate flowers and eleven buds on three branched inflorescences; sepals and petals yellow, lightly veined green, suffused with sparse fine red spots, basal white halo frames column; lip side lobes blushed orange, reticulated red, inferior margins pink, midlobe blushed light pink; column white, basal pink blush, anther cap white; substance firm; texture matte."

Upon More research I found that this flower is the same clone as Phalaenopsis Lioulin Lawrence 'Dusty's Sunshine G847'

Dr Bannister said flowers are very fragrant. They stay yellow

Here is a photo shared by Dr Bannister of Iowa Orchids.
