Personally, I like this FAR better than the rest! How about crossing this to a gigantea with a nice yellow background? I would totally buy some!!!

I'm still not sure about JSC crosses but this one gives me more hope.

Why is that, Jim?

Thank you Cody. Here is flower update from the same plant. This is a very large plant Ben gave back to me to breed with. I don't think that I've done anything with it yet.

Yep, I like this one the best!!! Or maybe you should use Giant Passion! What other gigantea hybrids do you have hiding in your greenhouse, Peter? ;)

How could you resist not picking up a toothpick at every chance you get? You should definitely make some other gigantea crosses. . .(*hint hint*) ;)

Another from this cross. This is the second flower on a first time blooming seedling. I never found time to get a picture of the first flower. It had better form. This plant has been neglected a little but still looks good. Just didn't produce the greatest flower this time around. I'm going to keep this one just to see if I can grow it better and what can become of the form.

Earlier in this thread, Peter was saying that no one was sure about the ploidy of JSC. Has that been settled yet? Hope so!! I had assumed it was diploid and so have been using it with diploids....

Same plant but new flower. Not flowering at its best but I like it anyway. This plant likes to produce smaller petals when not flowering well.

Ben flowered this first and gave back to me to grow it better. It has its up and down. I was going to test it's pollen to see if it breeds.

Still my favourite so far! Do you have an idea yet of what you want to do with this? How about a stuartiana var. nobilis?
