Phal Pylo's Cupid Pearl
(Tying Shin Cupid X Pearl Red Coral 'Peter Lin')

First bloom on a small plant with 5-6 inch leaf span.

I haven't detected fragrance yet. What I was looking to create is many flowers like pod parent - adding the fragrance and bright color from pollen parent. Hopefully there are ones that bloom more red or purple.

Hello:

Thanks for posting the photo Peter. Now I know what to seeing when the seedlings from the flask I ordered from you finally bloom. Mine are still in compots. Actually the P. Tying Shin Cupid x violacea flask seedlings that I purchased at the same time are actually larger. I look forward to seeing those bloom too!

That's not a bad one Peter. Looks like the Pearl Red Coral gave it a bit deeper color. Hopefully you will get a higher flower count for sure. Nice potential.

You know it's a great forum when you search for "bellina" and it returns this from the server:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bellina."

I like it. Reminds me of a flower in the Krull Smith display in Asheville this past weekend. Was top notch.

Nice to see a Tying Shin Cupid cross, I like it a lot Peter!
- we crossed Tying Shin Cupid with equestris aparii 'red lip'... our friend told us that there hasn't been a high germination rate... but hopefully we will get 5-10 seedlings end of the year. I hope for cute littel red flowers with high flower count.... 8)

Thanks Glenn. I look forward to your flowers. My plants stay crowded in compot so they are small.
