Hello All:

Last year I purchased this bulbo. I really didn't expect it to flower so soon. It grew well on a sunny windowsill, an east exposure in the spring and summer and a south exposure during the winter to take advantage of any sun we might get in winter.

The flower measure 1 1/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches long. The "tails" tangled I assume due to a lack of humidity in the house to keep the tails separate. The plant is producing another bloom stem.

Thank you for sharing - this is a unique one (which we don't have at home - so far ;) )

Very nice Doreen. My plant is just putting out a spike. It was grown in stone and I haven't kept up with watering until recently. It has a very interesting damp fragrance. It's not unpleasing but not sweet floral scent either.

Thank you Sylvi and Peter for your comments.

Yes, the fragrance is odd; but not repulsive. I am finding the cirrhopetalums and the bulbos very easy to grow and bloom in indoor-home conditions.
