Congrats Jeff for flowering this hybrid first, you're a darn good grower! Congrats Peter on another great cross. I think there will be an orange/red colored flower to come from this cross.

That's very nice. Soft pastels.
You really should be shipping those over here, Peter

Phal Pylo's Canary Princess (F8-10)

Phal Pylo's Canary Princess
(Princess Li-Shian 'Peter Lin' X Yungho gelb Canary 'Joseph Wu')

I have a couple small seedlings of this cross a friend gave me, this one is the first one to bloom. For whatever reason, it's an amazing and fast grower and suddenly is a large plant flowering on 2 spikes, about 8" long. The other 1-2 plants I have probably won't flower for at least another year. I'm anxious to see more of this cross of yours Peter, hopefully your other customers will share pics as they flower them.

Hey Mike, that looks great. Thanks for posting.

This is only the 2nd flower that I have seen from this cross. I am still hoping that one flower will have more red/orange color from Princess Li-Shian 'Peter Lin'. It may be that micholizii influence is not letting more color to come thru.

I am hoping for what you are hoping for with an orange flower. This plant when not in flower looks like a big Yungho Gelb Canary, hard, round leaves, teardrop shaped. I LOVE that part.

I like the looks of this one. Nice yellow/green and cool central markings. Vigor is a big plus in my book. Congrats, Peter.

That's very nice. It's interesting that YGC mostly dominated as a pollen parent.

This was a nice surprise this week. I have 3-4 others in bud as well and will post in the next few weeks. This flower is fragrant. I have not retouched the color. Jeff
