Nikki Leonard wrote:Thank you Tess! You are right, the video is great. I only have space for the Agromax Window Grow Tent - Size Large (55 x 55 x 79) and there isn't a link to the video on that page. And thanks for the ideas about the ventilation - the inline fans seemed to move too much air to keep humidity up. I'm going to use a small Honeywell humidifier - are you using a hygrometer? Do you, or anyone else, have recommendation for a hygrometer with a max/min function?
Thanks again Tess!

Your very welcome!! Yea sadly they just have the one video. I wish they had them for each size.
Yes I have a hygrometer..... an Extech from Davis Instruments where I use to work. It's a cheapy. I'm going to get a wireless one like I have in the greenhouse. I usually buy whatever is the best price.....the dampness seems to damage them all eventually so I don't invest a lot of money in them.

Yes Mervin its about 98% full....... I could squeeze a few more in ;)

Congrats Paul! It's awesome you'll love it.
Don't let the humidity get too high....I forgot to turn the humidifier back at night and the moisture blew up 2 of my lights the next morning when I turned them on.

Tess, looks nice. Are they 4-bulb T5HO? Looks like you have about 1.5 feet between the top of plants and bulbs. Do they get enough light? My grow tent is much smaller, 4'x2'x5', but I'm having an over-heating issue (even though I'm in Alaska)... I have only 1x 2" 4-bulb T5HO, 90W LED, and 1x 4' 2-bulb T8 in it. When I receive a thermostat to automatically control the ventilating fan, I hope it will be ok. The thermostat I ordered is a combo thermostat and humidistat, so I may need to add a humidifier to counteract the lost humidity due to the ventilation fan...

Thanks. I'm using three 2 bulb T5HO fixtures and one 4 bulb but I think the 4 bulb is too much.....leaves are already getting a yellow tint and that fixture really gives off the heat. It's been getting to 80° F in there and the tent is right under an A/C duct. I think I'm going to replace it with a 2 bulb.
I've been flowering plants under the 2 bulb for quite some time now so I think the light is OK.
I'm going to look for my light meter and see if the readings are good.
