Bought as bellina 'Orchidview' x violacea 'Blue Chip'.

Re: Orchids - wild specimen

Just have seen this 'split- off'.
Not nice. Now nobody does know what I referred to. Even I do not recall.
But obviously that was intended. Sauber.

That is why I am no longer attending german forums. Easy to understand, isn't it.
And sad, too.

Re: Phal. equestris aurea

Thank you all! The plant is from Elsner, some years ago.

Now is the best moment for a close up - with more buds to open, the spike gets really crowded.

Phalaenopsis noid with little whitish flowers

I'm pretty sure that it is a complex hybrid, but as the lip is so unique - mostly ending in one extended point - perhaps someone does recognize it. The flower stance remembers equestris somehow - sepals fold back - and the colouring and spots in the lesser half of the sepals look like stuartiana anc...

Phalaenopsis amabilis 'Sabah'

Got this plant last year from Elsner Orchideen. First flowering for this plant and first amabilis - hopefully true species - with me. Not sure if Sabah (simple quotation marks are mine) just indicates provenience of this plant/descendence or if it is a real clonal name. Just opened today and the flo...

Re: Phal. Patricia Lillian

No, plain green equestris leaves. Mottling would be a plus... x Philadelphia would be an interesting cross!

Re: Equestris hybrid

Now that my Phal. Patricia Lillian is flowering I found this thread - and did you get the right name of this lovely plant? I wonder if equestris aurea could be an ancestor.

Re: Phalaenopsis lindenii

Thank you, Alain, I was not sure for pulchra has for long time been included in lueddemanniana, I'll try and make the cross as soon as I get pollen from pulchra, which should be no problem, it is flowering time now.
