Commercial colchicine treatment service?

Post by loujost » Sat Jun 11, 2011 9:12 pm

Rockbridge Labs used to offer colchicine treatment of flasks, but they are not taking any more seeds. Does anyone know of a commercial service that will germinate seed and do colchicine or oryzalin treatment of them? I have about ten crosses I'd like to get germinated and treated. Thanks,
Lou

Try Kelsey Creek Orchid Lab. I had good results with them before
I started doing my own.

The owner has since passed away. As far as I know they are no longer in business.

I wrote him at the time, and he said he was not doing it anymore. He did not mention health problems, but I guess that was the reason.

In response, CJ Mack from this forum offered to do it, and i took him up on it. He will do small non-commercial quantities for hobbyists.
