several weeks ago a seed pod of mine opened before and though it would,I mixed a teaspoon of distilled water and a teaspoon of bleach together and put some of it in the seed pod ,and put it in an envelop for a couple weeks,it is germinating nicely,does anyone ever do this,glenn

I just did the H2O2 method on a pod that was freshly opened. I have successfully decontaminated stem prop flasks using H2O2, and like that it decays to water and oxygen in light. I mixed about 5ml of H2O2 with my seeds and drew them into a syringe, waited the recommended 30 minutes ans used the coffee filter over the needle to slowly reduce the amount of liquid in the syringe to under .5ml, and after sowing, places the flasks under light for 24 hrs.

This was the result a little more than 2 weeks later.
