Frank Smith's greenhouse pictures

Post by peterlin » Sat Nov 09, 2013 1:53 pm

These are taken during the week of slipper symposium at Frank Smith's greenhouse. I don't have names to every plants. I figure that I post pictures first and then come back to add captions.

Probably my favorite Phal bellina. It gets extra points for having beautiful leaves.

Your pictures are great. I wasn't going to post anything because I didn't want to cause any business conflictions, but now I'll see what I have. I can't imagine what that you haven't posted except that big crazy nice amboinensis.

You know it's a great forum when you search for "bellina" and it returns this from the server:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bellina."

Peter! You forgot to post a picture of the most awesome thing there!

Yes folks.... Frank raises show chickens. They were amazing and more colorful than the orchids.

Awesome awesome plants and flowers!!!! Your Joey x Sogo Kaiulani is amazing! Now you've got to name it! :D Also, some great looking amboinensis, nice dark red Ambonosa, yellow background doweryensis, and boldly striped lindenii.

They were on the back side of the pool. I thought you were with us when we looked at them.
