Considering what I could cross this with. Tetrasambo? Blue Ridge Quarter?

Humble suggestion: do not overlook the possibilities of just selfing it.

Also humbly noted, as per your current thoughts, keep that sequential flowering habit intact, whatever you do.

Gorgeous flower, by the way, and miles ahead of what I am working on: yellow color in a tetraspis hybrid. If you ever get a stem prop of this, I would pay you in hemoglobin-rich blood for it!

Do you have Chienglung's Corningosa to work with? It does not have a yellow background expressed in most cultivars, but flowers for me off-and-on all year and if it was the pollen parent, you could still have yellow in the seedlings.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and Bravo on a quite fine cultivar. Others of this cross either lack the yellow intensity in your cultivar or provide fewer flowers -- you have the potential for something quite special as a parent here. Again, in my humble opinion...

Thanks for the yellow suggestion. I don’t have any corningiana dominant hybrids.

What about Tying Shin Eagle? See how the tetraspis alleles might match up.

Do you mean Tying Shin Fly Eagle, or Tying Shin Beagle?

Tying Shin Fly Eagle sounds like it would be right up your alley.

Tying Shin Fly Eagle (DTE x tetraspis) was what I was thinking. Likely do it both ways today.
