My Phal closet!

Post by TheBlazingAugust » Sun Mar 04, 2012 4:50 pm

Well, I finally found the time where there was no one else on the computer and I wasn't lazy, so I finally took some pics of my Phal closet, as well as my other plant stand.

Here is the Phal closet with doors wide open, and you can see that the whole bottom layer is empty, just waiting for the first spring order!

Here is the left side with my standards and the Ten Shin seedlings.

Here is a view of the center with some of my older 'chids (my JIG, my first novelty, is just over a year old here in my collection)
Image

A view of the right side with some others as well as my three mounted phals. I just noticed that you can't see much of the lobbii, as he's hiding between the violacea and bellina.

Cody, there is plenty of room left in that closet! Quick questions though. Any idea how many FCs your shelf is getting at plant level. Great idea for a small space! Now where are those shirts you were gonna wear...

You know it's a great forum when you search for "bellina" and it returns this from the server:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bellina."

I have used a light meter, and it is around 1,600 fc. Lol, my shirts are either in my dresser, or on my floor! I absolutely HATE folding clothes!

Hi Cody,

Very nice set up. Some healthy looking plants. I commend you for all the hard work you do to grow such lovely plants. Good job! Next you need to set up a grow room in the basement.
Read all about my adventures in Going Postal and Making Money by Terry Pratchett.
Oh, did I mention I'm a horrible speller?
I have pallens to trade, anyone interested?

Your setup looks great. May I ask where you purchased the white slotted material the plants are resting on?
Thanks,

Mike

Mike, you can buy egg crate at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Menards should have it, too. It's in the lighting section.
